The LIT Super 7 Series is proud to announce Restart Rugby as our Official Charity Partner for the 2026 Series.
As the largest Rugby 7s series in Europe, LIT7s has always been about more than just world-class rugby — it’s about community, impact, and creating a platform that brings people together. Partnering with Restart Rugby takes that mission to the next level.
Who are Restart Rugby?
Restart Rugby is the official charity of the Rugby Players Association, delivering vital support to current and former elite rugby players facing serious injury, illness, or hardship. From funding specialist rehabilitation and medical treatment, to providing mental health support, career transition guidance, and financial assistance — Restart Rugby plays a crucial role in looking after the people who give everything to the game. Quite simply, they do incredibly important work behind the scenes to support rugby players when they need it most.
What to expect this summer
Restart Rugby will be present at all five LIT Super 7 Series events, bringing energy, purpose, and plenty of ways for everyone to get involved:
◦ On-site activations: Fun, interactive games for players and spectators throughout the day.
◦ Ambassadors: Expect appearances from well-known rugby names — and possibly a few legends
◦ Fundraising initiatives: Raising much-needed funds to continue their life-changing work
◦ Community engagement: A chance to connect directly with the charity and learn more about their impact
On the pitch
At the showpiece LIT7s (Wasps FC) event, Restart Rugby will also be fielding men’s and women’s sevens teams.
And if you know anything about rugby… you’ll know what that could mean.
Keep an eye on those team sheets — we wouldn’t be surprised to see some very familiar (and very exciting) names stepping back onto the pitch.
